We, Janet Kirshbaum and Marlene Miller, would like to give you a bit of a background on when and how the wonderful world of Marjan began. The two of us met in 2000 while training with a large group for what was our first 3-day, 60 mile breast cancer walk. We didn't walk together, but "accidentally" got to talking while relaxing after a weekend training "jaunt". We discovered that we had a great deal in common, especially our passion for eradicating breast cancer. That was the beginning of what's become a beautiful friendship, as well as a dedicated commitment to continually raise dollars for breast cancer research and awareness. Even though both of us, as well as all of our children, are so thankful not to have been faced personally by this terrible disease, we are commited to work until we feel everyone is "worry-free". At that time, there will no longer be a need for any of our efforts.

All of the net proceeds of sales from this Web site are given to a breast cancer organization. So far, our dollars have been donated to Avon, The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and The American Cancer Society.

We have travelled from coast to coast for breast cancer walks, meeting amazing people in each city. Everyone's story is a treasure unto itself - some warm and tender, some sad, but always with hope.

Marjan started it's fund raising journey by introducing the ever popular pink ribbon girl pin. It's been received so well because it's completely different from all other breast cancer pins available.

New items will be coming out in the future, so please come back and check out our Shop often!

Thanks for your interest in our Web site. It is truly a labor of love. We welcome your comments, suggestions and anything you think might be worthwhile to manufacture and sell in the future. Thanks for your support!

This Web site is dedicated in part to my beloved brother, Dr. Richard Coskey, who fought a dignified and heroic fight for over fifteen years against cancer, one portion of which was breast cancer. Even though he lost his battle in May, 2004, I feel he, as well as my incredible parents, are watching over me and my dedicated friend and partner, Janet, in making sure this journey we are taking to raise dollars for breast cancer research and awareness will bring us all one step closer to the day a cure will be found.
